Receptionist / Administrator

Manchester City Centre

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm

Salary: £18K

Our client is seeking an experienced receptionist and administrator to join their successful team. Based front of house the successful candidate will welcome all visitors and guests to the business and assist with administration.

Duties will include:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors in a polite and friendly manner
  • Answering, screening and forwarding incoming calls
  • Dealing with all incoming & outgoing post, and accepting deliveries to the office
  • Printing, scanning binding and filing various documents
  • Setting up meeting rooms and ensuring all refreshments and stationery are available
  • Ordering stationery, kitchen and other office supplies
  • Assisting team secretaries in arranging travel, including flights, trains and hotels
  • Managing Outlook calendars
  • Maintaining and updating contacts
  • Setting up new projects & files
  • Typing up various documents, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ensuring the reception area and clean and tidy at all times
  • Reporting any maintenance issues immediately
  • Looking after the staff car parking i.e. obtaining a space for new members of staff and keeping spreadsheet up to date

The ideal candidate:

  • Will have previous reception and administration experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • SAGE knowledge would be an advantage, however training will be provided
  • Will be able to liaise with people at all levels in a friendly and polite manner
