Job title: Receptionist/Administrator - Apprenticeship

Location: Euston/Kings Cross, City of London

Wage: £278 per week/£14,500 per annum

Start date: ASAP

Apprenticeship courses available: Business Administration Level 2-3

Responsibilities will include:

  • Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
  • Meeting and greeting clients and visitors
  • Ensuring reception/stationery area is maintained in a clean, presentable and tidy manner
  • Collecting and distributing mail, organising outgoing mail and couriers
  • Replenishing paper in photocopiers and printers
  • Making orders for office stationery
  • Assisting with accommodation and flight reservations
  • Scheduling calls, meetings and coordinating the boardroom calendar
  • General office duties and helping with ad hoc projects

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • Excellent communication skill- both oral and written
  • Good administration skills, including basic computer skills
  • Ability to take accurate messages, follow up where necessary
  • Must be polite with an excellent telephone manner
  • Discreet and confidential in dealing with sensitive issues
  • Friendly and professional approach
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Confident, good telephone manner, attention to detail, punctual, smart appearance, and team player
