Receptionist (6 month fixed term contract)

EDP is a sought-after multi-disciplinary environmental planning consultancy which offers expert planning and design advice to the development sector across a range of land uses including housebuilding, renewable energy and commercial. Our talented team of ecologists, archaeologists, arboriculturists, masterplanners and landscape architects work closely together to ensure development is well-planned, well-designed, environmentally responsive and attractive to people and wildlife.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team in Cirencester for a 6 month fixed term contract, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

This post, in a fast-paced office, will use your administration and customer service skills to support the wider consultant team as necessary, working as part of a friendly Administration team.

The ideal candidate will be a positive, proactive, friendly, and professional individual who will enjoy and flourish working in a team-centered environment. Ideally, you will have previous experience of working front of house, be organised, reliable, flexible and professional, be self-sufficient and able to use your own initiative and cope with multiple tasks and high expectations/pressure.

It is essential that you have GCSEs including Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent) and be confident with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Health & Safety issues is desirable.
