I am working in partnership with a large established academy who have recently opened a brand new school in Croydon. The Academy provides local families and children of Croydon and Sutton with a broad and balanced education that exacts high expectations.
They are currently seeking a hardworking Reception teacher to join their committed team. The post is full time, long term with a salary of up to £36,906. As reception teacher you will also be offered the opportunity to gain your NPQML, a qualification that provides a national recognition of your leadership development and professional achievement as a middle leader.
This Academy school will grow year on year to provide classes from Reception to Year 6 and offer three forms of entry by 2022. Set in an impressive, purpose built, three storey building it boasts state of the art technology as well as resources and facilities to match as they venture on an exciting journey to become Outstanding.
The school is within a short walk from Waddon station; a busy commuter station in Travelcard Zone 5 on the Sutton & Mole Valley network. Regular services include London Victoria (via Norbury or Crystal Palace), Sutton, Epsom and Epsom Downs. There is a range of bus routes from South London, Kent and Surrey. If you drive there is also ample parking close to the school.
The Headteacher is looking for a reception teacher with:
*QTS (or equivalent)
*Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum
*Experience of teaching a reception class
*A passion for children's learning and development
*High aspirations for all children and a desire to raise standards
*High aspirations for themselves and a commitment to further development
