My client, a leading FMCG organisation with a real family/friendly feel now require a warm and engaging individual with finance experience to also front their busy reception area.

This is a great company that offers 25 days holiday, parking, major staff discounts The role is Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm.


• Meet and greet all visitors both internal and external

• Franking all post and arrange courier service when needed

• Opening all post, date stamping and sorting and distributing for UK and International

• Receiving Parcels into Reception from courier companies and distributing/informing staff of parcel arrivals

• Monitoring reception email

• Assisting with customer, vendors,attending site

• Book taxi’s as and when needed and raise PO’s

• Order Nespresso and Franking machine supplies and raise PO’s

• Receiving returned small orders from customers by Royal Mail/Parcel Force checking them and Logging information onto returns spreadsheet and monitoring on a daily basis, and distributing to relevant departments

• Printing weekly sign in sheets putting out and filing previous day. Updating leavers and new starters.

• Preparing post for collection by Royal Mail at 3.15pm

• Updating telephone List,sign in sheet with new starters/leavers. Laminating copies to circulate

• Ensuring Coffee, Water and drink Facilities/Mugs are replenished and all in good working order

• Keep reception clean and tidy for all guest

• Going through invoices, applying payments and updating store spreadsheets with invoice numbers

• Processing payments received on bank statement to relevant accounts, running reports

• Applying payments received and raising settlement discount or Hitachi commission

• Applying and transferring payment to customers’ accounts from store accounts

• Updating the ledger spreadsheet with delivery dates on customers’ accounts

• Post out daily invoices

• Ad hoc duties as and when needed

1. Skills required

• The job holder should have excellent interpersonal skills

• The job holder should have experience within a finance role

• The job holder needs to be practical and a clear communicator

The job holder must have intermediate excel and word skills
