An opportunity has occurred to work for one of the worlds leading aerospace organisations based in Widnes. This role includes working in a large warehouse environment, receiving and shipping a range of goods in the aerospace industry.

The Receiving & Shipping Associate will operate within the Stores function booking in stock, picking and shipping goods across the industrial and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) product ranges. The products you will be dealing with are mainly from customers within the UK & EU but also USA, so experience of working with goods that are imported and exported would be beneficial.

It is a proactive role, where the Receiving and Shipping Associate will look to identify and implement improvements by taking ownership of the receiving and shipping process. It will also require the post holder to balance their workload and be flexible in order to be able to support both the MRO and industrial work flows on a rotation basis. There is a small amount of lifting involved in the role in order to deal with parcels that are received from customers and when others are ready to ship. A good knowledge of SAP would also be advantageous.

In addition, this role is to provide assistance and support to the Stores Team Leader, by carrying out duties to assist in the smooth running of the Stores function (as required).

- Competent keyboard skills
- Good IT and SAP knowledge
- Driver - has the ability to drive progress and make positive changes (for impact) within the department.
- Proactive - looks to predict outcomes and takes action to make sure of positive outcomes
- Data entry into SAP.
