As a Senior Associate in the Real Estate team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal advice to a diverse portfolio of clients. Your work will be varied and challenging, with opportunities to take the lead on significant transactions.
ROLE
- Advising on acquisitions and disposals of commercial and investment properties.
- Negotiating leases and landlord/tenant agreements on behalf of both landlords and occupiers.
- Managing property portfolios including handling licences, consents and lease renewals.
- Supporting property developers on site acquisitions, development agreement and project disposals.
- Reviewing and advising on title matters, contracts and heads of terms.
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and paralegals, ensuring high standards of service.
- Coordinating with other departments such as Corporate, Banking and Construction, to deliver seamless service on real estate transactions.
REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years PQE in commercial property law, with solid experience in landlord and tenant matters.
- Ability to lead on complex transactions, providing clear, commercially-driven advice.
- Proven experience in supervising and mentoring junior team members.
- Excellent client relationship management skills and a proactive approach to business development.
- Financially savvy with the ability to manage workloads efficiently while meeting deadlines.
