Our partnership RC secondary school in North Tyneside is looking to hire a full time RE teacher to cover maternity leave as soon as possible. The school are seeking an experienced and inspiring teacher with a passion for religious studies to teach the subject to key stages 3 and 4. The Humanities faculty within the school is well supported and the school is dedicated to ensuring continued professional development for all staff.

The school boasts an inclusive, supportive and dedicated management and teaching team that encourage reachable targets for pupil progression.

About the Role:

  • RE teacher- Secondary School (KS3+)

  • Temporary post to start ASAP with the opportunity to be made permanent after a successful placement.

  • Class sizes of approximately 26 pupils

  • Long Term, Full-Time role (Maternity cover)

  • Inclusive Secondary School

  • Experienced and supportive Senior Leadership Team

  • Average sized Catholic school.

  • Competitive daily rate up to £160 (depending on level of experience and availability)

    About You - the successful candidate must:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK

  • Have a clear passion for religious studies and working with children

  • Have QTS

  • Have excellent communication and confidence skills

  • Possess valid references, DBS/police checks or willingness to obtain them
