Religious Education position available in Roman Catholic girls School in excellent London location. Join a school which aims to educate young women who are engaged in all aspects of their learning, mind and heart, body and soul, and prepare them to become positive role models, agents of change and leaders who will transform the world we live in for the betterment of all. The curriculum is broad and deliberately wide ranging to ensure each girl has the potential to develop her talents and is challenged intellectually in an environment where she can develop academically, emotionally, socially, culturally and spiritually.
The study of religion is a vital part of the schools curriculum and is invaluable in helping students understand the world they live in. The vast majority of people in the world choose to live their life by a religious code; so helping students to understand what people believe, why they believe it and how the practice their faith helps to break down barriers of prejudice and discrimination as well as ensuring young people are religiously literate. Understanding the spiritual, moral and ethical perspectives and traditions of others encourages tolerance and peace and helps to prevent misunderstandings.
