A thriving and outstanding independent prep school set in the beautiful Surrey countryside on the borders with Berkshire and South West London are seeking a dynamic and caring RE Teacher. This is a full-time role from April 2018 covering maternity leave. Initially for one term, however this contract could possibly extend.
This prep school enjoys outstanding facilities including well-resourced classrooms, small class sizes, a sports hall, a swimming pool, a beautiful chapel and numerous acres for children to have fun and enjoy. These fantastic facilities enable pupils to achieve their full potential and staff to deliver stimulating and dynamic lessons. Staff are both welcoming and friendly at this independent prep school and there is a school wide collaborative approach where resources and best practices are shared.
There is a wide ranging and broad curriculum on offer which encourages inquisitiveness and participation and the school aims to develop its pupils into well rounded young people who foster self-belief, confidence and a love of learning.
The Head is recruiting a personable and excellent classroom practitioner to teach RE from Years 6 - 8 including Common Entrance and Scholarship level. You will have experience of teaching RE either at primary/prep level or senior/secondary level. Experience of teaching RE at Common Entrance is advantageous, but by no means essential.
