Your new role
The school are currently looking to appoint an experienced Teacher of Religious Education to teach across KS3 & KS4 to cover a maternity leave. The role will be on a part time basis for 2 days a week (every Thursday and Friday). It is due to start after the February half term (26th Feb 2018) and continue on a long term basis until the end of the academic year, July 2018.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in applying for this role, you will be a qualified Teacher holding a PGCE/QTS/QTLS qualification. You will be an experienced Religious Education practitioner, having taught RE across KS3 & KS4 in a secondary school. You will be able to plan effective and insightful lessons, and mark and assess all work completed by students working towards their GCSEs. NQTs are also welcome to apply.
You will have a passion for education and be a professional and enthusiastic teacher, who will continue to contribute to the schools outstanding teaching standards and reputation.
You will have recent and relevant experience teaching in a secondary school, and you will be able to provide outstanding references from your recent work placements.
