Radar Systems Architect, Fareham, Circa £65,000
A global organisation is seeking a Radar Systems Architect to join their team on a permanent basis to work at their site in Fareham.
Working within a high technology environment the Radar Systems Architect will be responsible for the architecture and implementation of future radar products and systems including the development of a new product.
Other responsibilities include: Full life cycle product development; Simulation on how radar works; Improvement of current radar production i.e. obsolescence, production and test issues etc; Working closely with Product Manager on product development strategy.
In order to be considered for this position candidates need to be educated to at least degree level in Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics or a closely related subject. In addition to this candidates need to have a strong experience in radar design (Magnetron or Solid- State radars) and simulation, and as such have experience using simulation tools such as Matlab or Simulink etc. It would be advantageous to have experience / knowledge in any of the following areas Coherent, Doppler, pulse-compression and FMCW radar techniques, Electronic Hardware Design, RF and microwave or EMC.
This role for a Radar Systems Architect is commutable from Portsmouth, Southampton, Fareham, Chichester, Havant and other areas within Hampshire and the South Coast.
