Communications Specialist; Contract length: 2 months £26.00/hr PAYE
We are recruiting a Communications Specialist to help and lead the execution of a comms strategy across a range of IT transformation programmes.
Responsibilities will include;
Support design & implementation of communication strategy for IS Transformation Programmes
Carrying out stakeholder analysis/mapping.
Working with our in-house creative team on a range of deliverables including workshops to co-create a vision, identity and key messages for IS initiatives, plus the production of creative comms collateral and activities including roadshows, videos, presentations.
Develop a strategic approach to managing communications in support of the Technology Transformation Programmes
Create key messaging framework, write/edit content that brings our story to life including video, internal social campaigns, articles, sites, apps, presentations, events and e-learning modules etc.
Manage key channels in support of our communications agenda and push the boundaries to deliver communications that are 'outcome focused' and bring real value to end users
Develop multi-channel approach to communications and design communications for our diverse and multi-generational employee population
Develop strategic narrative in support of transformation programmes to drive consistent and compelling story telling across the organisation
Support and be consulted on design of internet pages and portal (branding, look & feel etc.)
Deliver day-to-day communications activities and initiatives through a range of channels, coming up with creative ideas on how to do this.
Develop and deliver internal communications plans for specific activities, working in partnership with colleagues across the globe to advise and develop effective communications.
Write innovative, creative and engaging content. From news stories and employee interviews to success stories, videos and internal announcements, for various communication channels, including e-newsletters and the intranet.
Produce and distribute e-newsletters.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of the intranet, helping to create and develop sections as needed and produce or edit/approve copy.
Candidate Profile - what our client will be looking for;
Experience in Technology Driven Programme
Microsoft Office Experience
Experience in initial discovery work to create comms strategy - stakeholder analysis, channel analysis etc
Highly competent internal communications professional
Proven experience in change/transformation communications
Track record in delivering significant programmes on time, to budget
Educated to degree level
Blend of strategic and tactical communications skills
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Expert in crafting multi-channel communications programmes
Knowledge of communications technologies, inspired copywriting skills
High energy, resilient, motivated, resourceful, focused, and innovative
