R&D Technician - Seaham

Sarah Farrow at CK Science is recruiting for an R&D Technician on behalf of a manufacturer of specialist coatings at their site in Seaham on a permanent basis.

The Company:
Our client is a well established company who develop and manufacture specialist coatings and polymers which are used in the cosmetics and medical devices industries.

The Role:
The main purpose of your position will be to support with the formulation and development of specialist coatings products.

You responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out laboratory scale investigations to support with new product development, and improvement of existing products.
- Recording experimental.
- Maintaining laboratory stocks, and general laboratory housekeeping.
- Working in compliance with quality standards.

Your Background:
To be considered for the position you should have an interest in science, and ideally be qualified to A level, or equivalent in a relevant scientific subject.  Experience of working in a commercial laboratory environment will be highly beneficial for this position.
