Set up by an experienced team of industry veterans, entrepreneurs & scientists they are looking to build their initial development team to be based in London and to have a real impact on the foundations of the company, the brand and the technology.
The R&D Operations Officer will support and enable the activities of a brand new R&D team to deliver their objectives. This will include taking responsibility for intellectual property, supply chain management, health and safety and data confidentiality & compliance with HTA regulations.
They will ensure cost-effective R&D activity, capture & record IP, prepare company accounts, write reports for submission to company sponsors, investors and stakeholders and develop and maintain protocols consistent with the Human Tissue Authority and data protection laws.
With an interest in healthcare R&D and a PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, Engineering or equivalent, they will have experience gained within a research activity and ideally experience of science administration. They will also have experience of working as part of a research team, undertaking proof-of-concept studies and producing biological and biomedically relevant data.
Any experience of budgeting & accounting, developing protocols, team development and interacting with commercial investors and stakeholders would be desirable.
