Oxford based construction consultancy looking for Quantity Surveyor or an intermediate Quantity Surveyor to work on projects within resi, police, education, retail, & media.

Location: North Oxford (OX2)

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on level of experience

About the Quantity Surveyor opportunity:

This Oxford based construction consultancy has a long and well established history.  They have a large and diverse range of projects that include, education, police stations, private schools, media centres, flats / retail mix use, primary schools, music and drama, bank monitoring, and religious buildings.

They are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor who can run projects but isn’t quite yet a Senior Quantity Surveyor.  You will feel comfortable doing valuations, financial statements, pre contract work, and attending post contract meetings.  You might be taking an experienced route to the RICS, or be late starting your APC, or you might have never started to become chartered but have a built up a good level of experience.

It’s a small company so there isn’t any room to hide but they reward well and they are also a very flexible company allowing a lot of room to accommodate people personal lives and holiday etc.  It’s a very enjoyable company to work for and there is also career progression up to Director level.

Requirements for the Quantity Surveyor:

Qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

3 – 10 years experience (obviously more experience is welcome)

Construction consultancy background

Confident and client facing

Salary for the Quantity Surveyor:

£35,000 - £45,000 depending on level of experience
