A quantity surveyor job in Lancashire paying £40k + package working for a regional house builder.
Your new company
You will join a luxury regional developer specialising in new build speculative housing schemes. They have a passion for delivering the highest quality product, within key areas of the Lancashire region. They are a profitable business with ambitious plans for the future. Their key strategy is quality and this is something they deliver throughout their entire business. Due to the market growth and company expansion a permanent quantity surveyor is needed in their Lancashire office.
Your new role
You will be based from their head office and report to their Commercial Manager. Your role will include collating and analysing tenders, controlling budgets and forecast. Resourcing of sub-contractors to ensure commercial viability and maximised profits. You will assist with the creation of land viabilities as well as effectively producing / monitoring budgets and CVRs.
What you'll need to succeed
You will currently be working as an Assistant QS or Quantity Surveyor within the housing sector and have a consistent career history. You will be keen to progress your career with a top house builder. You will be qualified to degree level and have a good working knowledge of construction methods and materials. Good IT skills and experience of using COINS would be advantageous.
