A Rapidly growing M&E contractor based in The North of England is in need of a M&E Quantity Surveyor to come on board their growing team.

About the Client:
This client will give you the opportunity to work on prestigious projects across a variety of sectors which includes Education, Hotels, Leisure, High-End Residential and Commercial. The client currently turns over £15,000,000 which is predicted to jump by 30%.

About the Role:
Management of sub-contractor procurement and attendance at sub-contractor pre-Contract meetings.
Preparation of formal sub-contract Agreements.
Measurement of works.
Management of legal issues and disputes and important commercial issues.
Management of sub-contractor interim accounts and agreement of sub contractor final accounts.
Budgetary control including monitoring of costs and the prompt identification and management of overspend.
Preparation and presentation of Commercial and Post-Contract Reviews.
Management and submission of external Applications for Payment.
Costing change through the design phase
Identification, pricing and settlement of Compensation Events, variations and additional works.
Set up job files and all necessary records
In conjunction with the Commercial Director, check and approve subcontractor claims for payment
Liaise with subcontractors to resolve queries
Preparation, submission, agreement of variations and final accounts
Agreement of Subcontract and Client Final Accounts
Assist with contract valuations
Assist with monthly cost/value reconciliations

About the Candidate:
BSc in Quantity Surveying, or a similar qualification
Have a minimum 5 years demonstrated UK experience
Have excellent communication skills
Extensive experience working within the construction sector
Must be computer literate
Experience working on projects up to £5,000,000
