Quantity Surveyor / Manager - New Build, High End Residential & Commercial Construction
An expanding, prestigious New Build, High End Residential & Commercial Construction Firm are now looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor.
With over 30 year's industry establishment, they pride themselves on delivering building services for London New Build, High End Residential, Commercial, Structural and Enabling works, typically projects are based in London, W1.
The office is located in Essex, you will be part of the reputable team assisting with the day to day QS activities.
As a QS your basic salary will be between £60K-£75K with GENEROUS benefits and bonus package, not forgetting to mention outstanding prospects of career progression within a growing High End Contractor, this could make 2018 your year!
You will split your time between the head office in Essex and site visits throughout Central London (W1) and reporting back to the office team in Essex, responsible for the following;
Quantity Surveyor - New Build, High End Residential & Commercial Construction
Responsibilities: As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for but not limited to;
(a) Assisting in estimating.
(b) Budget preparation for projects.
(c) Cost value statements.
(d) Subcontractor payments.
(e) Prepare quantified measures from drawings.
(f) Analyse direct labour Labour Return sheets.
(g) Produce labour, material, plant etc breakdowns from tender submissions.
(h) Cash flow projections.
(i) General QS duties to give clear financial management of projects.
We're looking for an ambitious individual, who is dynamic, ambitious, self-managing and personable! You will also have strong commercial awareness, and a proven background as a QS working on High End residential or commercial projects.
