An experienced Quality Technologist with a food industry background is required by our client, a global supplier who are based in Kent. The main responsibilities will be the investigation and follow up of analytical failures and internal non-conformances. Environmental monitoring and management of key hygiene KPI's. Allergen monitoring (monthly & annual validation) as well as allergen practices review cleaning and sanitation monitoring and validation. Coordinate G&P audits and T&H audits and conduct those as appropriate. Participate to HACCP meeting and promote improvement of their FSMS on site. Implement actions and improvements identified by HACCP team. Support tracking and completion of customer questionnaires and enquiries. Conduct weekly Hygiene Audits plan. Be the first point of contact from production and warehouse for deviations. Maintain trackers up to date and actively participate to KPI meeting and continuous improvement efforts. Coordinate shelf-life extensions on RM and finished products. Coordinating finished products and RM sample analysis with internal and external laboratories. Collating analysis results and positively releasing finished product. Issuing customer C of A based on results. verifying batch documents and labels prior to releasing the to productions for manufacture. Coordinate concession and urgent orders with customer support team. The successful candidate must have experience in the food industry, preferably in a Quality/Technical role. Have great attention to detail and good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook. Excellent communication skills.
