Extensive experience in a Quality / Technical role within the Food Industry is required.

Working hours - Monday to Friday 0845 - 1700 (45 mins break)
*Owner of the site compliance model (Quality Management systems)
*Working closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to drive site compliance in the factory to 3rd party and customer standards and on-going monitoring of complaints
*Own management systems that monitor compliance and demonstrate CAPA where required
*Contribute to the development and delivery of a quality strategy that is clearly linked to the strategic goals of the site. Ensure that this is understood by employees at all levels and that everyone is working towards these goals.

*Quality & Food Safety
*Support in delivering appropriate management systems which evolve to maintain compliance (regulatory / 3rd party / Customer) in the following areas:
oHACCP & Food Safety
oQuality Management Systems
oInternal Audit & Inspection
oComplaint & Non-Conformity Management
oCorrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) Systems
oRaw Material & Vendor Management
oFinished Product QC Testing
oProvision of Information to Customers
*Facilitate Continuous Improvement
oProvide foundations and leadership that support the Quality Assurance Team in order to identify and implement improvement opportunities that ensure the site achieves its long term goals.
*Planning, Target Setting & Reporting
oWork with the Quality Management Team to define and deliver a quality strategy that identifies and targets key areas for improvements.
oWork with the Quality Management Team to define targets in line with targets, and targets relating to operating model quality KPIs & PI's
oPlans to deliver compliance are clearly defined by a master schedule.
oReport KPI's in an accurate and timely manner
oBuild team skills through skills assessment, training, feedback and support.
oManage on-going performance of direct reports.
oIdentify those who have the interest and ability to progress within the business and facilitate this through agreed procedures.
*Drive and motivation.

*Degree in Technical subject.
*Extensive experience in a Quality / Technical role within the Food Industry.
