Macildowie are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager working for a business based in Loughborough. The Quality Manager will lead all aspects of Wholesale Operations. the Quality Manager will lead all aspects of Wholesale Operations.

This is a permanent position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.


Continually striving for excellence in fast paced environment whilst ensuring GDP regulatory standards are maintained. Customer/Supplier Relationship Management, dealing with complaints and resolving issues.

To support growth and act as the catalyst for continuous improvement within the business through the regular Risk Assessments and self-inspection.

To work in collaboration with the Responsible Person to ensure that the Quality Management System is fit for use and continues to serve the best interests of the company, whilst simultaneously ensuring compliance with GDP.

Creating and updating SOP's and proactively recommending further improvements for efficiency and compliance.

Analyse non-conformances and implement required corrective and preventative actions through implementation of appropriate CAPA and Deviation procedures.

The ability to communicate effectively with Customer and Suppliers, the Team, Responsible Person, and other Departments.

Promote a positive culture via training and people management techniques.

Undertake any other reasonable duties, commensurate with the job title, as may be determined by the Company.


Work accurately with attention to detail, setting an example of and promoting quality culture through the business

Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage a team independently; establishing and displaying high standards, with clear expectations and demonstration of excellent work practices

Quality Management experience is preferred but not essential

Confident, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Work independently and proactively, and a good team player who works well with other colleagues to ensure a seamless operation

Excellent attention to detail, organisational/planning skills, and ability to prioritise a varied and fluctuating workload

Enthusiastic, positive, can-do attitude, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work, particularly during peak periods of work
