Quality Manager

Ideally you will have some Engineering, Fabrication or Manufacturing skills but others will also be considered.

Based in South Yorkshire my client currently employ circa 150 people but are currently going through a positive expansion plan so new members will be taken on. This company supply engineered products across the UK and Worldwide and are renowned for there on time, in full delivery. They also pride themselves on running a strict Health and Safety policy across the site. Working at the South Yorkshire manufacturing plant as the Quality Manager you will report directly into the Production Director and will have full control of all Quality functions including the Quality Management Systems, Root Cause analysis, and continuous improvement. This would suit Quality Managers based within a Manufacturing or Engineering environment.

Other Duties Include:

  • Must be able to control and delegate to a quality team.
  • Good customer liaison skills essential as this is at times a very customer facing role.
  • Ability to provide detailed monthly reports to the Senior Management Team.
  • Be able to produce 8D analysis and similar as required by our customers.
  • React in a timely manner to customer concerns and requests.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure.
  • Liaise with department heads and advise on all aspects of quality.


To apply for the Quality Manager position based in South Yorkshire the client is seeking a Quality Manager to take control of the company's quality department. The ideal candidate would be an professional with excellent man management and communication skills, capable of controlling all aspects of the company's quality system. Ideally you will have some Engineering, Fabrication or Manufacturing skills but others will also be considered.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring these standards are applied throughout the company and for ongoing training and monitoring in relation to these standards. At present there is a team of three qualified staff and two support staff, it will be the quality manager's responsibility to ensure that these are allocated responsibilities.

Job Offer

Salary £37,000 to £45,000 per annum.
