This is superb opportunity to join an established multi-million pound turnover and successful engineering business who supply into the automotive sector amongst others.

Managing a small Quality team and reporting into Director level you will be accountable for driving quality performance across a 200 employee site. We are looking for a strong Quality Manager with an engineering background with solid people management skills, project management and continuous improvement experience coupled with a driven outlook.

The role will be customer facing to Automotive customers and be required occasionally to travel to Europe as part of your role. We are looking for a candidate with high volume manufacturing experience that has worked with complex and technical product. APQP, PSW, PPAP, 8D experience will be highly beneficial to the role.

You will work across a number of teams including Engineering, NPD, Continuous Improvement and Sales and you will need to be able to flex your communication style. This is a varied and challenging role including team management, strategy and hands on quality management.

You will ideally come from a background that supports the automotive sector or similar sector with either castings, machined parts, plastics or any metal related product. Other similar sectors will also be considered.

Working with a number of internal stakeholders within the business including Engineering, Technical, Sales, NPD and Continuous Improvement you will have sound communication skills and the ability to work across the group.
