Quality Management Specialist - medical devices

We are recruiting a QUALITY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST and business support person

You will be a quality management specialist with responsibility and skill in improving and managing the system as an internal auditor and will have worked within an ENGINEERING ENVIRONMENT to work for a well- established organisation successful in commercialising new technologies and for providing specialist, innovative technology and products including MEDICAL DEVICES and products with applications in manufacturing industries. The company is an expanding organisation and provides the opportunity for direct experience of supplier management and quality control.

  • Possess knowledge/experience with ISO13485 and/or ISO9001 QMS gained within a medical device company although candidates from airline or car manufacturing backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Hold a degree or equivalent within engineering (mechanic, electronic or other)
  • Will have worked within a manufacturing/factory environment previously -p i.e. medical device, automotive, airline
  • Must possess MS Office skills particularly Excel
  • German language or other European language skill useful + English
    • HOURS OF WORK - 35 HOUR WEEK- 9-5pm or 8-4pm Mon- Fri

Job description:

  • You will be responsible for ensuring ongoing maintenance and improvement of quality management, assistance in manufacturing and technical support of medical devices.
  • Business support including purchasing of components in compliance with iso13485 quality management system for medical devices, sourcing parts, logistics management of parts and products for sale, supplier management, contract negotiation and relationship development with suppliers and customers.
  • Manufacturing Assistance to include technical assistance in manufacturing, installation and maintenance of parts.
  • Ensuring consistent and ongoing adherence to medical device regulations.
  • HOURS OF WORK - 35 HOUR WEEK- 9-5pm or 8-4pm Mon- Fri
