Blackfield's client has been asked to support in the search for a Quality Lead (Trainee QP / Qualified Person) to join their manufacturing plant based in Nottinghamshire.
You will be responsible for leading the operational side of the QA department and management / coaching of the Quality Assurance team, to ensure compliant life cycle management of products and full adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). You will responsible for the Specials/Clinical review of batches to include PSF/SPF approvals, quality agreements any changes/deviation approvals completed for final release as well as batch record approval.
In order to be considered for this position candidates will need:
Aspiration to become a QP, currently training as a QP (couple of modules left or at VIVA stage) or QP course completed (VIVA)
Thorough understanding of the Pharmaceutical (GMP) understanding and a track record with; FDA, MHRA, EMEA and other regulatory agencies.
Experience and ability to operate in all aspects of GMP / Quality team work
Hold a formal Science based Degree or equivalent (Pharmacy, Biological, Chemistry, etc.)
Strong knowledge of multiple dosage forms and eligible to act as a QP would be advantageous.
The Lead Quality Officer role is based in Nottinghamshire and is commutable from Sheffield, Loughborough, Leicester, Derby, Birmingham, Nottingham, Stoke on Trent and Peterborough.
