We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Insurance Inspector with knowledge of REACH and ideally EU Food Contact Materials legislation ideally coupled with an understanding of the Ethical Trading/Social Standards for compliance to BSCI and SMETA to work in Leicester to be part of a small team where career development is there for the right candidate, our client can offer flexibility when it comes to hours either 9am - 5.30pm or 8am - 4.30pm and our client is going from strength to strength

As the Quality Insurance Inspector experience is the key as you will be liaising with other Quality Technicians/Managers to discuss best practice

As the Quality Insurance Inspector your duties will include the following

Creating and maintaining Key Accounts product Specifications

Incoming goods quality inspection

Organising 3rd Party factory audits and 3rd party pre-shipment inspections.

Keeping abreast of government regulations.

Maintaining our own ISO compliance.

Liaising with factories and maintaining records of relevant compliance's.

Liaising with the factories regarding specific customer standards.

Assisting the Sales Department with customer specific Technical issues.

Complaint handling with the factories.
