Quality, H&S & Environmental Co-ordinator

Do you have experience of Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures within a warehousing environment?

We have a new QHSE Co-ordinator position, working for a successful supplier and distributor, based in Banbury.

The Role

The purpose of the Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Co-ordinator, will be to evaluate and drive QHSE across the business site, assisting the QHSE manager with a wide range of legislative requirements and projects, working towards continuous improvement company-wide

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Continuous review of QHSE processes across whole Banbury site, analysing and identifying key areas for improvement
  • Health and safety processes - risk assessments, staff training, policies and procedures
  • Quality and environmental inductions
  • Assisting with external audits
  • Assisting with Quality/Environmental management system maintenance
  • Business continuity plan procedures and documentation
  • Reporting all Quality Assessment and Quality Improvement to departments

Skills & Experience

  • NEBOSH or equivalent qualification
  • Quality & Standard Operating procedures experience
  • Working knowledge from within a Warehouse environment, with exposure to Health and Safety practices
  • Further experience of environmental and quality will be advantageous
  • Proficient Microsoft Office user
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Confident communicator - written and verbal
  • Logical problem solver
  • Analytical
  • Real eye for detail and accuracy
  • Deadline driven
  • Able to calmly handle a busy, varied workload
  • Full, clean driving license
