What you'll be doing:
*you'll undertake general QEE monitoring including that required by the ethical standard
*you'll complete thematic reviews on specific QEE subject matter
*you'll perform quality reviews of audit files for ethics issues
*you'll draft responses to straight forward technical queries and consultations on a range of ethics related topics
*you'll provide support to other team members of the ethics team
*you'll support presenters on QEE matters at internal training events
*you'll support QEE team during external regulator quality monitoring reviews
*you'll work with others to enhance QEE quality
*you'll develop contacts within Grant Thornton in other service lines

Education, experience and qualifications:
You'll have previous experience of working in a professional services firm or similar
You'll ideally have a compliance, risk, audit or Independence background or previous experience in a similar role, but more importantly you'll have a willingness to learn a new technical area
You'll have a basic understanding of the ethical standards and how to interpret and apply principles in a practical way
