Your new role
In your new job as a Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing, coordinating and monitoring the Safety Management System (SMST) Policy within the overland business units.
You will need to have a good broad understanding of Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety and have good basic understanding of Auditing and ISO standards.
You will need to promote, apply and coordinate the quality approach set out by the company, whilst helping operational teams implement these measures and ensuring they are enforced.
Monitor and supervise the environmental and security issues to support the operational teams in implementing these standards.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in your new role as a Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator, you will have had previous experience in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to assist and advise line management and operational employees on the implementation and use of quality, health and safety, security and environmental provisions.
Ideally, you would have had experience in coordinating training and awareness raising programs, in addition to conducting analysis for trends and root causes (5 Why's).
Finally, have excellent communication skills and be able to build relationships with the stakeholders of the business to be able to spot problems and explain your concerns before they arise.
