A world class supplier within the engineering industry of a very niche product is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team. Significant investment has enabled the company to acquire new contracts and grow the business which has resulted in them moving to a new state of the art facility over the last year. The company's product range is established throughout the UK and Europe with plans to branch out into the US next year so it would be a great time to join this lucrative organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
oReview, follow and enforce product (including software and hardware) development processes and methods to ensure product quality throughout the design lifecycle
o Define test methods and create test plans for projects of new or updated software and hardware
oContribute to the updates of company processes and procedures to ensure compliance with current requirements and standards
oExecute test plans and write test reports to describe program evaluation, testing and correction
oDevelop appropriate QC test methods (WIs) for product release in collaboration with the QC department.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
oInput into FMEA's
oDegree qualified is preferable in an engineering or science discipline
oPrevious experience as a quality engineer is needed
oEnsure own compliance with health and safety regulations
oExperience working in a medical, pharmaceutical, Automotive or Electronics industry would be desirable because of the standards you would have worked towards
o£35,000 - £38,000
