Quality Engineer

I am currently searching for an experienced Quality Engineer for a fast growing company in Cornwall

To be part of the team on New Product Developments as well as New Product Acquisitions and Quality process improvement - review and improvement to ensure effective and efficient processes - working with Production Engineering 

The role of the Quality Engineer will be

Investigate CAPA

Review incoming inspection criteria and make recommendations as required

Member of team performing PFMEAs

Assist with Root cause investigation of non-conforming parts in production

Assist with in-process audits

Perform Customer complaint investigations

Aid in product validations

Perform final QC inspections

QMS procedures - creation, control and adherence

Provide project support as needed for the business

Experience

Degree in Engineering or related experience

Preferably background in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within the Medical Devices Industry

Minimum 5 years' work experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering (Preferably within the Medical Devices Industry)

Knowledge of ISO13485 quality systems

Knowledge of FDA Medical Device Regulations

Internal/External audit experience

Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis

Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) experience desirable.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite Software.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.

Resourcefulness and problem-solving ability

Results driven work ethic and can-do attitude

Ability to travel both UK and overseas 

This role is offering up to £30,000 + depending experience.
