Quality Engineer

This role is for a quality engineer (systems), responsible for governance across the lifecycle of products, to ensure that current and future standards are being met. You’ll be joining an experienced and friendly team where you will have an opportunity to develop your skills further.

The role

In the role, your responsibilities will include being a key point of contact on internal audit processes; ensuring corrective actions are managed effectively. You’ll liaise with individuals, teams and department heads across the business to ensure compliance. You’ll also maintain documentation, and ensure procedures meet those of the parent company and wider industry specific regulations. This will involve you in both European and U.S. regulation that will enable you to learn and develop a broad perspective.

This role is working for a company who specialise in the design & development of medical operating theatre and infection control equipment. It’s not important that you have prior experience of the medical / healthcare sector, although it’s essential that you have experience within a regulated industry. It’s fair to say that your work will have a positive impact not just on those around you but also for the users of these products.

About you

To be successful, you should have extensive quality assurance experience within a regulated industry (e.g. healthcare, telecoms, automotive, scientific, aerospace or other), and be trained as a lead auditor. You may have worked as a quality systems engineer, regulatory engineer, SQA engineer or 3rd party auditor. Depending on which role you have been doing, you may be seeking a role close to home.
