You will be interested by this new opportunity and permanent position to join our client's Quality engineering team, responsible for the Quality Assurance process audit, analysis and improvements onsite. A large business group, with 5000 employees, manufacturing sites across the UK and Europe, supplying advanced technology battery solutions for customers in the aerospace, marine and rail to telecoms, health and energy markets.
You will work in a front line QA role responsible for performing process audits, analysing quality data to draw up conclusions, maintaining quality assurance documentation and is actively involved in process improvement activities. Overseeing the incoming inspection of goods, other responsibilities include providing assistance to the Quality Manager and working with the Process (Assembly) Engineer in resolving day to day quality issues impacting upon customer satisfaction and to conduct training sessions on the use of statistical process control/problem solving.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:
Educated to ONC/HNC NVQ 3 in an Engineering/Manufacturing related discipline
Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years' experience in years within a quality function or department
Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years' experience with manufacturing
Knowledge of Quality assurance techniques and tools related to manufacturing processes.
Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and understanding the concept of Quality
Possess high levels of organisational skills, self-motivation and an eye for detail
Excellent communicator, in both written and oral formats
A confident and target orientated individual who enjoys problem solving
A passion for innovation with a "right first time, right every time" mindset
