Quality Engineer - Medical Devices New Product Development - Cambridgeshire
The is currently a role for an experienced Medical Devices Quality Engineer to work alongside medical devices design engineers to make sure ISO 13485 standards are being applied. You will be based in Cambridgeshire, working on a number of different medical devices.
Your role will be a vital part of the new product development cycle and due to this you will need to have a number of years experience working within the medical devices sector specifically to ISO 13485. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applications from other sectors, unless you were still working to ISO 13485 standards (for example in the pharmaceutical sector on a drug delivery device).
Ideally, while working as a quality engineer in the past you have been working alongside design teams who have been inventing new technologies. However, we would still consider your application if you have been in the factory implementing changes to medical devices also.
It is expected that you would hold a degree within a medical devices, bio-medical or engineering field, however practical work experience is more important. Although we are looking for a Quality Engineer, if your background has had more to do with Design Assurance we would still be open to your application, as long as it was within Medical Devices to ISO 13485.
