Quality Engineer - Contract

I am now looking to recruit a Quality Engineer on a 12 week Contract basis based in Derbyshire. My client are now looking to recruit a self-motivated, professional, Quality Engineer to review and co-ordinate customer concerns and complaints in accordance with customer requirements. As the contractor you will be based at the state of the art facility in Derbyshire which comprises of manufacturing.

In its core business of heating technologies the company is the second-largest European manufacturer in this sector.

Description

Based in Derbyshire my client work within the heating and hot water industry and develop, produce and market a wide range of related services. The company also offer technical development, material and production know-how, which means they can take full responsibility for all products with a common goal with our customers to lower cost.

The role of the Quality Engineer, based in Derbyshire will be to take responsibility for the deployment and compliance of the integrated management system. Specifically:

Ensuring the management system is effective in driving improved performance and customer satisfaction.

Maintaining the highest standards through robust policies and procedures.

Working with all employees to ensure a SHEQ focused culture.

Working closely with the Technical team to ensure process metallurgical investigations are carried out to facilitate the subsequent development of products and processes.

Profile

To apply for the Quality Engineer - Contract position based in Derbyshire you will have:

  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Computer literate with a good knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word etc.
  • Team Player, able to work on own initiative when required
  • Understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, to include ISO/TS requirements
  • Problem solving techniques
