Quality Engineer - Taunton

Permanent. Salary £25k to £30k. You must be a UK / EU national and be fluent in spoken English. Our Client is a leading manufacturer of miniature package components for semiconductor devices, renowned for expertise and responsiveness in bringing new customer designs to fruition. Specialist manufacturers of microelectronic components for optoelectronic, semiconductor, hybrid and microwave applications, specialising in metallised ceramics and metal components and assemblies.

You will be working within the Quality Team to ensure the quality and compliance of products and services from contract review through manufacturing, test, despatch and also in service with the customer. Support the identification and implementation of Customer, Company and Regulatory requirements. Ensure correct adherence through internal and external audits. Assist in the pursuit of effective compliance and continuous improvement with active development of suppliers, processes and people.

You will hold a Mechanical or Production engineering qualification. Have the ability to review and interpret drawings and test reports, to generate, and review and interpret specifications and work instructions. Conversant with the requirements of ISO 9001. Possess IT user skills, including use of word processors, spreadsheets, databases, requirements planning and software. Working knowledge of MIL STD 883 or equivalents. Quality systems auditing.

35 hours per week. Flexible working. Assistance with relocation.
