With sites across the UK our client is a global market leader in providing measuring technology to a number of different industries. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Quality Coordinator to be based from there site in Redhill, Surrey.

Main Duties

- Coordinate calibration of internal measuring/assembly equipment in the required time frame and update the internal calibration system.

- Produce and process non-conformance analysis for root cause identification and actively contribute to the investigations leading to the granting of concessions from suppliers if and when they arise.

- To create a plan involving all of the UK qualified auditors and conduct internal and supplier audits and to oversee closure of any resulting actions. May require some UK travel.

- Escalation point for closure of returned products requiring building of relationships with the internal manufacturing facilities, external suppliers and customers.

- Support the quality manager by monitoring and progressing quality assurance and quality control programs and produce reports.

Candidate Profile

- A minimum of 4 years relevant experience in a quality environment including the ability to read and understand technical drawings.

- Experience of working in a manufacturing organisation with strong communication skills.

- Ideally be a qualified internal auditor by a recognised registrar, with strong analytical and attention to details skills.

- Good customer orientation skills and someone who is a team player who can build effective working relationships as well as being someone who can identify answers to any problems that may arise.

- Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Excel, word, PowerPoint and outlook.

- HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering and understanding of ATEX/PED and other relevant CE considerations would be a major advantage.
