The job of a Vehicle Quality Controller
As part of a team of professionals you will control all the activities within the Bodyshop ensuring that all work is undertaken in a timely and correct manner thereby ensuring customer care/satisfaction at all times. You will also ensure final quality checks are undertaken in line with the set process and any other applicable standard and ensure all job cards are completed corrected correctly. It is also the responsibility of the Quality Controller to liaise with all Bodyshop technicians and the manager in respect of any quality issues. Another very important aspect of the job is teamwork as you will be working with other colleagues in the Bodyshop as well as across other functional areas.
You will report into the General Manager, who has been at Nationwide for a number of years. He is as passionate about Customers as he is about his team and is absolutely determined to make his Bodyshop the best in group. It’s an amazing team!
What we think good looks like
As a Quality Controller we would like you to have an interest and passion in what we do. With a professional appearance you will have experience of working in fast paced parts role, as well as experience working as Bodyshop Controller, Workshop Manager or Quality Controller within a Car Dealership, Body Repairer or Crash Repair Centre. Knowledge of the automotive industry, be that dealership, accident repair, or sales is ideal. Naturally, due to the nature of the job you will need to have a full UK/EU Driving Licence and the relevant qualifications for the job. We will help and support you with the rest
