Quality Controller

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Controller for our Paignton based client. You will be tasked with carrying out inspections of goods and overseeing and maintaining the quality and environmental management systems. To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems. It would also be beneficial if you have knowledge of ISO14001 Environmental Systems too. A mechanical skill set would be highly beneficial, as this role requires the ability to understand technical drawings, and documentation. The successful candidate will have the ability to act independently, and proactively to resolve any quality issues. You must have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with the team, and their customers and suppliers.

A key element of this role will be to oversee the ISO9001 quality system, and update in line with changes to ISO requirements, and ensure relevant changes to the business processes. You will be charged with the maintenance of documentation for business and manufacturing processes. You will also be responsible for the inspection of parts, against the relevant specification drawings. You will be investigating any non-conformance issues and identifying and implementing solutions. You will also oversee the ISO14001 environmental system, and update in line with changes in requirements, and business processes, to ensure that the company maintains it’s accreditation.

The hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8am - 4.30pm. We are looking to move swiftly with this position. If you have the relevant ISO & Quality experience and are looking for a new challenge apply today.
