We are looking to recruit a Quality Controller/Manager to work for our client based at Markham Vale J29A area of Chesterfield.

**Please note this role is to cover Maternity leave and position would commence in March 2019**

Purpose To manage and maintain Quality of all products produced at Markham Vale, through the control of Product Specifications, in accordance with standards. To be a role model for best practice at all times, and provide support to management where appropriate.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Specific tasks include (please note that this list is not exhaustive):

Ensures product quality, integrity and traceability at all times through the utilisation, control, administration and management of the company Quality Procedures and MHRA Standards. As well as other measures this will primarily involve periodic Auditing of 'Patrols' and 'Procedures'.

Provide the day to day review of the Quality Systems and support to the Production Department

Ensure the final product meets client specifications (SPI) and MHRA Regs. Effectively use the integrated management systems (VISION)

To adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company Health,
Safety and MHRA regulations.

To ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures and MHRA Regs

To ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external

To ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to

Ensure customer complaints are analysed to ensure trends are actioned and reasons for anomalies identified.

Liaise with the management team regarding product quality issues.

Liaise with the management team relating to MHRA Regulatory issues.

To be an effective member of the 'Project Steering Group' in product innovation, development and start-up projects.

To regularly review the training records with the team and provide the main resource for training on site.
To act as a role model for best practice
Play an active part in continuous improvement
To participate in the companies PDP program
Drive own personal development through training and work based experience
Liaise with customers and clients to be the Key contact for MHRA compliance on site
To undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post

Qualifications

Essential:
H&S L2 Qualification
Food Safety (L3)and or MHRA Quality
Auditing Qualification 

Desirable:
First Aid
Fire Marshall
