Through its continued growth and increasing demand for its products, the business is currently recruiting a number of roles across different areas of production, with a brand new production facility in the build phase at present. In particular, they are looking for new team members within Quality Control.
These are shift based roles, ensuring that robust quality measures are maintained throughout the entire manufacturing process, using state of the art sampling equipment to guarantee the highest quality of production standards. As well as working in production, you'll have the opportunity to work in the microbiology laboratory as a lab technician.
This work requires a methodical approach with a keen eye for detail and it's likely that experienced candidates will already have worked in a similar quality control or quality analyst role in industries such as food, food ingredients or healthcare. The role might also suit a recent graduate with a relevant science degree who's keen to gain some practical experience working in a UKAS accredited facility.
To apply for this role you must be willing to participate in shift based work which includes nights and weekend work on a rota basis. There is a great compromise here though, unlike in the food sector, this business is closed all over Christmas and all staff enjoy above average benefits such as 28 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays - so that's 36 days altogether!).
