Our market leading client is seeking a proactive Quality Control Operative to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to eventually work within the Calibration team and learn new skills and to grow and develop.

Quality Control Operative Responsibilities:
To ensure technical customer requirements are constantly met.
To carry out day to day calibration tasks to meet the customer return dates.
To ensure first-time right-on calibrations are met by the department by following technical procedures that are taught during the training stages.
Carry out calibration and adjustment repairs of a large range of equipment within our UKAS Accredited laboratory and on customer’s sites when required to do so.
Manual calibration as well as the writing and setting up of automated calibrations.
All calibrations are performed on a quoted turnaround therefore the ability to work set times and to prioritize workload is important.
Carry out any other work as may be required to ensure the smooth running of the business.
To accurately record results as required
Desirable Experience:
Previous experience working within Workshop/Laboratory conditions
Strong problem-solving skills
Good organisational and communication skills
Ability to take on instruction and act on them
