My client is looking to recruit a QC / QA Technologist to join their team based at their modern manufacturing site near Yeovil, Somerset. My client, a leading manufacturer in their field is looking to recruit additional staff as a result of growth and a new factory that is being built. This position will be required to work shifts including 6.00am – 2.30pm, 8.30am – 5.00pm, 5.00pm – 2.30am and approximately 1 Saturday in 5. Applicants must have flexibility to work shifts as required.
As a Quality Control Analyst you will be responsible for:
·Quality standards throughout the production process including sampling of raw materials and finished products
·Calibration of equipment
·Swabbing of equipment and facilities and ensuring all products are produced to the highest standard and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
·Preparing media and samples, and conducting microbiological tests on raw materials and product samples and processing test results accurately.
The ideal candidate will have:
·Experience in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment
·Have a proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
·High levels of attention to detail and good organisation skills.
·Candidates must be computer literate and able to demonstrate good levels of numeracy and literacy skills.
This role could also suit a recent Graduate
