Our Client, a leading supplier and exporter of Scottish seafood and salmon products based in Buckie, has an opportunity for a Quality Auditor to join their team.
The Quality Auditor will initially work on a temporary basis although there may be opportunity of this position becoming permanent thereafter dependent on business needs.
The role of the Quality Auditor will be to implement the quality and process audit service to the factory in order to ensure the objectives and procedures detailed in the quality manual are achieved and to ensure the safety, legality and quality of the product are adhered to and maintained.
The Quality Auditor will also ensure that customer specifications, quality manual and procedures, record keeping and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the factory.
This position would suit a candidate with some knowledge of Food Safety and Hygiene Standards, who is looking to progress their career within Quality.
Previous experience within auditing and working within a high care food manufacturing environment is desirable, although not essential as supportive training will be provided.
The successful candidate will:
- Be computer literate
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be able to communicate at all levels within a business
- Be flexible with their working hours including shift work
- Have good time management skills
The Quality Auditor will be flexible with regards to their shifts to include day shifts and back shifts as well as be available to work 5 days out of 7 per week. This will be rotational therefore weekend work will be required.
The Quality Auditor will earn a starting rate which is negotiable on experience.
