My Client, a company with an enviable position in their market sector, is now looking to recruit a Quality Auditor to work in a team inspecting components and finished goods to ensure that the products meet specification. This will involve visual inspection, taking measurements, performing tests, keeping records, providing information to other members of the team and production.
The Role: Quality Auditor
To perform inspections on all types of components and finished goods, using test plans and methods (CTP/CTM's and PTP/PTM).
Release components/labels within given lead-times for use in production
Release finished goods within given lead-times
Manage Inventory according to standard operating processes
Contribute to and participate in continuous improvement activities as required Lean Events, FMEA's, Projects, Root Cause Problem Solving
Prioritise work load to ensure service and customer demand is not affected.
Attend first production runs or Line Trials as QA representative and advise on any quality issues.
Regularly check that equipment being used is working correctly and is within calibration.
Conduct Root cause investigation for quality non-conformances or near misses
Responsible for 5S within the QA department
Skills / Experience / Qualifications: Quality Auditor
Minimum HND Science or quality related subject
Experience in related industry - FMCG / Pharmaceutical
Knowledge of ISO 22716 advantageous
Competent user of SAP/R3 systems
Knowledge and understanding of production packing processes, filling and finishing techniques and industrialization processes
Strong focus to delivering high standard of work, with a good attention to detail, gets things done on time
