Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Auditor to join our team here at Kiveton, near Sheffield, working the afternoon shift (1.30pm until 9.30pm). In the role of QA, the key focus will be to sample, test, audit and monitor to verify that all processes, procedures and products are being manufactured in a safe and compliant manner.

Role Responsibility

You will also conduct verification checks to ensure equipment is suitably calibrated within the required standards. You’ll need to have a strong eye for detail as you will also be required to track and document all activity and results in an accurate manner, highlighting any areas of non-conformance and taking appropriate action.

Ensure all samples collected adhere to all procedures and protocols and ensure the quality, safety and legality of products sampled.

You will work closely with the production and operations team to ensure they are aware of all quality assurance activities, compliance with all relevant technical standards, results and trends, supporting the team to understand and adhere to food safety procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

You'll need to be educated to GCSE level or equivalent and be computer literate, as well as having some understanding of basic food safety.

We need you to have previous experience of working within a similar role within food manufacturing, whilst qualifications within Food Hygiene and health and safety would be extremely beneficial.

Because you'll be working as part of a team environment, you'll need to have good communication skills, strong attention to detail and sound organisational skills.
