Maternity Cover 12 months

40 hours a week covering the following working hours, flexibility is required due to the nature of the business:

Monday – Friday 6:00 – 14:30

Duties will include:

  • Goods intake checks
  • Be responsible for driving food safety and quality standards.
  • Validation work
  • Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
  • Support on-site audits conducted by third parties and second parties
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
  • Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
  • Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
  • Collect and compile statistical quality data
  • Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
  • Recording and reporting quality data
  • Preparing samples for micro testing / swabbing (environmental and listeria swabs, water samples, hand swabs)
  • Traceability audits
  • Paperwork checking / controlling/filing
  • Label checks/ verification
  • Temperature checks
  • Probe and scale calibrations
  • CCP checks
  • Knife / blade audits
  • Glass audits
  • Dispatch checks
  • Other day to day quality functions for the site as required

Experience

  • Good Excel and Word skills
  • Level 2 Food safety – although training can be provided
  • Level 2 HACCP- although training can be provided
  • Previous experience in food Manufacturing
