A new opportunity has become available for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our growing Regulatory & Quality division.
Reporting in to the Own Brand Quality Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring independent Quality and Compliance of all our Own Branded products. The core remit of this role will be focussed on protecting both the brand and product integrity, customer safety and the Board; covering products sourced from the Far East; within Europe and within in the UK.
As the Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be accountable for developing the Own Brand Quality and Compliance framework, ensuring this sits in with ISO9001 structure and is audited accordingly.
Working as an integral member of the UK Own Brand team, he/she will ensure the Quality and Compliance framework is adhered to and quality and safety are not compromised in any way.
The Quality Assurance Specialist will be expected to plan and manage the Quality and Compliance workload in line with the business Own Brand pipeline and highlight any upcoming capacity challenges.
To succeed in this role, it is important that you are confident in managing external relationships and quality of work utilising the skill of 3rd party service providers, pulling on the expertise across all areas, tracking costs to feed into Own Brand commercial modelling.
This role is perfect for an ambitious graduate in Q&R, with a clear appetite to carve a successful career and learn from industry experts within a blue-chip organisation. The ideal candidate will possess basic Quality; Regulatory and legal compliance experience for product sourcing across a range of products. He/she will be a technical expert in reviewing and assessing products to ISO standards, carrying out auditing and technical writing for product files.
To succeed in this post, it is essential that you have the ability to communicate and manage relationships effectively at all levels, with the ability to keep calm in a crisis situation. Prior experience in Medical Devices and/or basic communication skills in Mandarin would be highly beneficial but not essential.
Due to the travel requirements for this role, a valid full UK driving license will be required.
