The Company
The Engineering Division of SF Group based in Leicestershire are working with a growing name in the Medical industry. They are now looking for a Quality Assurance Manager due to the expansion of its facility. The Client was founded over 50 years ago and over the last few years has seen rapid growth due to some big deal wins. Due to the Industry they operate, the standards in which they operate are amongst the highest found in any industry. The Quality Assurance Manager that joins this team will find themselves with a fantastic team that has worked together for many years.
They have a global presence shipping products around the world to some of the biggest companies in the world. They have a target to grow the business in double digits each year, so the Quality Manager that joins them needs to have great drive and passion for the job.

The successful Quality Assurance Manager will:

  • Manage and support other team members within the quality department
  • Devise and establishing a company's quality procedures, standards and specifications
  • Set standards for quality as well as health and safety
  • Make sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards
  • Set up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures
  • Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
  • Make suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them
  • Ensure that Daily reports are done correctly
  • Make sure that all documentation shows the correct Quality inspection plans
  • Understand diagrams made from the customer and any specific requirements in accordance with the customers' requests

The ideal Quality Assurance Manager will have experience with:

  • Working predominantly within a Manufacturing support and New Product Development environment
  • Experience in Manufacturing process
  • Working with PFMEA's & Compiling Control Plans
  • Understanding of metrology methods and inspection equipment
  • First Article Inspection reports / process (FAIRs)
  • Process Validation & Verification
  • TS16949
  • APQP
  • Managing a team
